2018 is quickly coming to a close, and we’re already well into 2019 with planning, budgeting, and strategizing.

RevSpring Launches New Brand, Completes Strategic Combination
It was an exciting year for RevSpring that started with the launch of a new brand identity! We completed the unification of
RevSpring finished the year with an exciting strategic business combination with Apex Revenue Technologies, becoming the premier provider of healthcare patient engagement, billing, and payment solutions. The combined company generates over one billion consumer financial communications and $4 billion in consumer payment volume annually on behalf of their customers.
QuadraMed EMPI Receives Top Ranking in Black Book Survey
QuadraMed® believes patient health and safety should never be at risk because of improper identification or fragmented records. QuadraMed’s Enterprise Master Patient Index (EMPI) software and clean-up services earned them the top 2018 ranking by Black Book™ Research. This is their second Black Book in a row, and third altogether.
CURE Rebrands as BioCT
The organization BioCT is the bioscience industry voice for the state of Connecticut. BioCT is dedicated to growing the vibrant bioscience ecosystem in Connecticut by supporting innovation, collaboration, networking, education, talent engagement and advocacy. We’re happy to call the BioCT Commons our Connecticut office home!
Astarte Biologics
Astarte Biologics provides a large selection of immune cells for researchers to do what they do best – discover. Astarte was having an excellent year, and then their year got even better when they merged with Key Biologics. Key Biologics provides human cells and blood products to institutions. It made sense to team up. Together, they’ve created a powerhouse to serve the biopharmaceutical community.
CeCN
In one of the only states where Medicaid doesn’t reimburse telemedicine programs (CT), CeCN has achieved exactly that. CeCN’s program provides specialist consults to underserved populations in the community. Through this program, they’ve performed more than 800 consultations.
Furthermore, the December issue of Health Affairs focuses on telehealth and features a WI study showing eConsults reduce Medicaid specialty care costs. Daren Anderson, MD of CeCN, presented the findings on December 4, 2018.
Intersect ENT
Intersect ENT is committed to improving care for adults with ear, nose, and throat conditions or problems. Earlier this year Intersect ENT launched SINUVA™ Sinus Implant, a new in-office treatment option for recurrent nasal polyps. SINUVA is a new method of treating patients with nasal polyps disease who have already undergone sinus surgery. It’s proven to reduce polyps and nasal congestion symptoms.
