Lessons Learned in Video Personalization
We have learned a thing or two on video personalization over the years. A few things to keep in mind include:
- Don’t personalize too early. Some viewers may want to see a more generic overview before providing any information about themselves.
- Watch your video volume to avoid drawing attention away from the rest of your content or sending viewers scrambling to turn down the noise.
- Place videos throughout your website, not just on the homepage. You want your video to be visible to website visitors who land on internal pages as well.
