However, there are still many States in which LGBTQ+ individuals still lack fundamental rights and dignity protections. There have been unacceptable levels of violence against transgender individuals in the past year.
Please join us in encouraging Congress to pass the Equality Act – a bill that would protect LGBTQ people from discrimination in housing, education, health care, and many additional areas of life. The bill has been stalled in the Senate since a hearing in March 2021.
