1. Develop a Killer Pitch
The plane or train ride to Chicago is the perfect time to nail down your pitches. Craft pitches aimed at managers, C-level executives, IT pros, and any other potential buyers or influencers. Consider preparing a separate pitch for media as well. For more public relations insights, read our HIMSS PR Tips blog post.
2. Plan Your Booth Visit Schedule
Once you arrive on the show floor, it’s easy to get distracted and hard to find the booths or exhibitors you want to see. Do yourself a favor and find the booth numbers you plan to visit. Go one step further and make an efficient plan to visit them all. A little planning will save you some major headaches and missed opportunities.
3. Post-Show Success
You are going to make a ton of new connections over your 3 days in Chicago. Be proactive in following up with those connections to develop relationships. Connect on LinkedIn and send a prompt email recapping your conversation at HIMSS and outlining how you can help them.
Best of luck at HIMSS15! Hope to see you there.
