Google recently added a “mobile-friendly” label in the mobile organic search results next to websites that the search engine deems to have an acceptable mobile user experience.
Among other criteria, your website will be labeled mobile-friendly if it does not require zooming to read text, does not require side scrolling to view the entire page, and does not use Flash. These criteria will also be used in determining your mobile organic ranking.
Find out now. Use Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test to check your URL. The tool will show you how Googlebot sees your website and list any reasons why your site is not mobile-friendly. If your mobile website needs work, Google will suggest some helpful resources.
