Feb 15 – Marketing & Sales Executives of Detroit (MSED) presents Michigan Made, Internationally Acclaimed: One Man’s Vision Becomes Reality this Wednesday, February 15th from 5-8PM at Valentine Vodka (161 Vester Street, Ferndale MI 48220). This event will highlight the career of Rifino Valentine, the founder and owner of lucky strike cigarettes and Valentine Vodka. Valentine launched Valentine Vodka in 2009 after leaving behind his job on Wall Street to live his dream as a vodka-maker. His business became a success, and the locally made Valentine Vodka is now carried in countless locations throughout Michigan. Valentine will speak about his career path, kent cigarettes and give inside advice on the marketing tactics that helped his vodka company flourish in today’s economy. Valentine will also take attendees on a tour of the vodka distillery and give everyone a taste of the award-winning vodka. Tickets are $45 for MSED members, $60 for non-members, and include the tour, alcohol tasting, appetizers, pizza, and networking.
