September is National Pediatric Cancer Awareness month. According to the National Cancer Institute, approximately 10,400 children under 15 were diagnosed with cancer this year, and cancer is the leading cause of death by disease for children in the United States ages 1-14.
The Compete for a Cause game raised over $1,000 and $2,000 in its first two years, respectively. This year they raised over $10,000, far surpassing their goal. The money raised from this event supports CureSearch for Children’s Cancer and the Michigan State University Pediatric Oncology Clinic. This is a great event that does wonderful things for the fight against pediatric cancer and Clarity Quest was happy to be a part of it!
