Are your blog posts turkeys? Three tips to soar like an eagle.

On a morning walk, something caught my attention out of the corner of my eye. I’m not a morning person, so it takes something very weird to break through my plodding fog.

I had passed by a car lot on the route out. Nothing seemed out of the ordinary. However, on my way back, from a distance, I noticed something on top of a Jeep. Did someone leave a car seat or a grocery bag?

As I got closer, I saw it was a…turkey!

I live in southeast Connecticut where turkeys are making a comeback, so it’s not unusual to see flocks of them in my yard or the woods. But on the hood of a Jeep?

This Jeep-lovin’ turkey was a great reminder that successful B2B content catches your audience off guard, and then:

  • educates;
  • informs; or
  • shares actionable advice.

That’s it. Keep it simple, make it visual, be different, and give your audience what they need or amuse them.
