Clarity Quest Creates US Marketing Campaign for German Software Company
Founded in 1984, EPLAN Software and Service is a data management system that specializes in electrical
engineering design and computer aided engineering software (CAE). In order to make sure their customer is
getting the best results, they have a staff of over 500 professionals, 100 developers, and quality assurance
engineers. In addition, EPLAN has a global network of over 50 subsidiaries and distribution partners which
allows EPLAN to do business all over the world. Taking into consideration all the benefits EPLAN offers,
it is no wonder it is able to install over 60,000 software seats for its 18,000 customers around the world.
Although they are well known in Europe, EPLAN did not have brand recognition in the United States. Thus,
they needed Clarity Quest to help them educate the US market place about their engineering design software
and professional service solutions.
Clarity Quest created a demonstration CD that highlighted the capabilities and benefits of the EPLAN
product line. Over 10,000 copies of the demonstration CD distributed through various trade magazines.
In addition to the demonstration CD Clarity Quest has also worked on online banner advertising campaigns
featuring design engineers as superheros which had high click through and conversion rates.
